North Carolina notary law is strict. Follow this pre-appointment checklist to help facilitate a successful notarization on our first visit.
Four steps to a successful signing

4. Secure Your Witnesses
Every signer must show an unexpired physical photo ID. Photocopies, digital images, and expired IDs are strictly invalid under North Carolina guidelines.
Do not sign or fill out any signature fields before we arrive. Notarial acts require us to witness your physical signing in real time.
Ensure your documents are fully filled out with no blank spaces or missing sections prior to the appointment. We cannot notarize incomplete paperwork.
If your document requires witnesses, they must be present with valid ID. Witnesses are your responsibility unless arranged with us in advance.
